I'm usually the same but the 3 way title fight and 3 way relegation fight meant this round was always going to produce some belters.  The 45minutes before the rain break in the yorkshire game (after Sidebottom came in) is about the most tense spell of county cricket I've seen, made for brilliant watching.

Hants have lost a fifth, 108/5 nowhere near enough of a lead for them to feel safe but with so many wickets down they have to bat a little more carefully now.

batting late on day 3/day 4 against our attack I think the chances of lancs getting the runs is very slim, especially given a draw is good enough for them, I doubt they'll even try.

First wicket has gone anyway 5/1 Barker with another.

Good to see an early wit, 5/1 hants really struggling 109/6. Just got to go for the win, lead by 159. May not get anywhere near enough.

I think it's getting very close to the point where we can breathe easy, hants seem determined to give Durham a chance for the win.

I'd say that day has definitely gone to the Bears.  Lancs closing on 28/3 is massive and you've have to say we're well on top and Hants are still well short of being able to declare safely but with 7 down and needing to take 10 wickets themselves they haven't really got the firepower or time to push on much more.  I suspect they'll flash themselves out with a lead of 250ish and see what happens, probably the only real choice now.

Gillespie does come across as a genuine guy.

I've always liked Colville, harks back to older More simpler Sky Sports days when you had presenters rather than ex-players.
