Great day out at Lords on Saturday, personally aren't that bothered if we get relegated now, that has made the season for me.

Rashid has issued a statement stating a relative is ill and that is the reason he is unavailable, although he does also state that he's played so much cricket that he needs the rest. So which one is it Adil?

Article by George Dobell on Trotty

That's a great article. Dobell is a sensitive and knowledgeable writer on the game. I will certainly buy the book.

There's a fair gap in finances between the 2 divisions. The Bears still owe a large chunk of the loan to the Council for the new pavilion. So you can't say it doesn't matter. I prefer the Bears in the top division, which they should be given the size of the club.

It doesn't matter a great deal to me, the club and many supporters will feel differently. I'd rather win a trophy and get relegated, than win nothing and tread water one place above relegation. We could bounce back in a season or two no problem.

George Dobell is a fine cricket writer, another book to add to my wish list then.

I think its out this week to coincide with the last game of the season. Well that was the plan i believe.
I daresay Trotty will be doing some signings in shop at close of play.

13 man squad for tomorrow:
Bell, Ambrose, Barker, Clarke, Hain, OHD, Javid, Mellor, Patel, Poysden, Trott , Wright and Westwood.

I was gonna be a little devilish to upset CJ and add Woakes' name to the list!!!

Couldn't bring myself to do it,

The financial stability of the club has to be taken into account surely? Relegation is a big backwards step these days - not quite like the Premier League in Football, but it does matter.

Interesting eleven for Yorkshire with three batsmen including the captain Gale who is out of form.
