There's a fair gap in finances between the 2 divisions. The Bears still owe a large chunk of the loan to the Council for the new pavilion. So you can't say it doesn't matter. I prefer the Bears in the top division, which they should be given the size of the club.

It doesn't matter a great deal to me, the club and many supporters will feel differently. I'd rather win a trophy and get relegated, than win nothing and tread water one place above relegation. We could bounce back in a season or two no problem.

The financial stability of the club has to be taken into account surely? Relegation is a big backwards step these days - not quite like the Premier League in Football, but it does matter.
