According to the BBC weather forecast, the heavy rain starts around midday tomorrow. I doubt we could chase 330 on a turning wicket? A draw would give us a decent amount of points, but a pity no batting points were gained. A poor season overall. Will Brown be kept on?

Poor batting again! Pray for rain tomorrow! We deserve that piece of luck as we suffer when in command of games to the weather - albeit not very often!

I wouldn't say poor batting today, Trott wasn't out, ball pitching outside leg stump, overall i would say a decent day for Bears restricted Middx in their quest
for speedy runs.
It could be an interesting couple of hours in the morning....i will go down in the hope that i only see an hours cricket!!!

74/3 only another 264 runs for victory!!!

Not much play at Hampshire v Yorkshire today, off for bad light most of the day at a ground with floodlights.

Well, Chopra's brain is not engaged at the moment.

I have never seen Trott so angry. He looked up to the heavens in despair at the time of the decision and let loose a torrent of invective as he approached the pavilion end.

We will be holding a rain dance ritual on the Skyline East at 1045 to 1055 tomorrow morning and then marching straight  to The Selly Park Tavern chanting "Doug Out" and "Dougie Brown, You're a Clown".

Seriously, if we go down, we will be in considerable financial trouble.

Good old British weather! Useful points if they don't get out in the afternoon. Rain looks set in for most of the day.

Yes, certainly looks like it....not gonna get my 60-90 minutes down there before the wet stuff started...as you say useful points.
Just hope weather takes care of Notts & Hants chances of a win

Yorks declared 238/5
Target 298 to win for Hants in 72 overs.

Covers poised about 10 yards short of wicket....coming on....very light drizzle...not bringing sheets on.
