Disgraceful. Come on Yorkshire, save our arses by beating Hampshire please.

I don't want two relegations in the same year!

This has happened far too many times this season. Something is fundamentally wrong
I was hoping a decent win on Monday would give us momentum but clearly that was a forlorn hope.

It looks like rain for most of Saturday, so that might help the Bears! A draw would be a good result. Just need to survive today. Middlesex might try and get a 300 lead quickly and put us in after lunch with one eye on the weather.

Lunch 129/3
Lead 199
Robson 41*
Eskinazi 15*
I suppose a decent session for Bears restricting the run rate. Need a better one till tea keep them batting till as long as they can this evening with the rain forecast
for tomorrow.

I renewed my membership yesterday as the ICC Champions Trophy tickets were made available. I complete a 6 year deal at the
end of this season and they have a 3 year deal available now which saved me £50...£505 in total.
I was able to get the 2 seats i wanted for the Aussie game though in Block 9 immediately outside the bar...£50 each....June 10th next year but
this game will sell quickly.

211/4 a lead of 280 there are 42 overs left today i would suppose that they may play till lunch
tomorrow so 76 overs left for Middx to bowl us out...long may they continue to bat to reduce
the number of overs available...and for maybe not the first time this season i hope it pisses down
before it's due to as:
Eskinazi b Poysden 53
Simpson 10*
Toby Roland-Jones sent in to give it the long handle...213/5 ...283 lead

Tea 267/7
Lead 337 i suspect we won't see Middx bat any longer and by declaring at Tea won't lose any overs so
i assume 32 overs for Bears to face tonight plus possible 96 tomorrow which by all weather accounts won't
happen.

Is it a bad forecast for Birmingham tomorrow? Hope so because looks like it's not great in Southampton.
