After Trott got his ton, Woakes went for 4 then Clarke for a duck. 235 for 6. We have bottled it, I reckon.

Woakes out for 4. Disappointing. 235/5. Down to Laurie & Rikki now in last 5 overs. Come on you Bears!!

Agree - familiar collapse that's happened for most of the season. Similar to Villa at failing late in the game!

this is a bit frustrating, looked on for a 300+ total but since Trott went they've taken regular enough wickets to kill our momentum.  Good knock from Evans though which means 280+ looks likely which is still a good total to defend.

Got Ryder, Bopara and Mickleburgh pretty cheaply to have them at 112/4 after 23.  If we can get rid of the other opener I think they'll struggle to get back into this, the spinners have done all the damage so picking all 3 looks like a good decision right now.

ten Doeschate in now, he always seems to do well against us.

Otherwise they still have Napier to come and he can do some damage with the bat.

Napier is only really a threat if they get him in with less than about 70-80 to get, much more than that and he's like to hole out going for a big hit too many.  This partnership is their key to getting anywhere near us I reckon.

Warwickshire will now be at home to Somerset - who beat Worcestershire by nine wickets - on 28 or 29 August

Brilliant! Our spinners wreaked havoc at the right time. Just what we needed.

Decent finish in the Kent v Yorkshire QF.

I've been constantly refreshing the BBC scores update this evening, I was convinced we were going to lose that. Felt it was a little unfair on Jack Leaning and Andrew Hodd losing their places, they've both played their parts in getting us this far, surprised to see Ballance straight back in the side.
