It hasn't been called the Western Terrace for a while, they pulled it down, rebuilt it and it isn't open for Championship matches whatever the commentator says.

Heroes and Villains, we discuss things on here in case you hadn't noticed Mr Ligan.

paul_e with  respect you don't half spout a lot of drivel at times You should read my messages carefully before you poke your oar in, i never said ALL Yorkshire fans are self opinionated just some of them .Correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure you are the guy when i expressed a opinion some while back that Ali was a second rate spinner and did not deserve to be England's number one spinner ,you had to tell me how wrong i was. Enough said.

I spout drivel?  I'm just fed up of you ruining this thread all summer.  You've done nothing but complain about Bears players (OHD mainly but you were giving Javid and Gordon a hard time until about a week ago when both of them had a few decent performances) and now oyu've topped it off by insulting the entire fanbase of another county and the fan of that county on here.  Yes you were probably angry over the match we'd just lost but there's no need to be outright rude on a thread where, generally, people from all counties can post without arguments.

I don't recall us ever having that discussion but what I will say is that when you have the best opening bowlers in the world and a 3rd seamer who has a golden arm the main job of your spinner goes from being a match winner to being a partnership breaker and in that particular aspecr Mo has been successful.  Without wanting to derail the thread any more the England bowling attack, especiailly now Woakes has found his feet, is the best in the world, and Mo is part of that and has done nothing to deserve being dropped so I'm not sure why you'd even bring it up as someway to to show you've got the better of me when pretty much all the evidence supports him being our main spinner but with a debate of whether we could afford to add another at times.  Maybe you wanted to give us all another example of where you'd been wrong I guess.

Can you all please stop the bickering? Cricket is a very silly game anyway.

Call cricket silly again sir and my next article for you will be all about Villa players who also played cricket.  So there.

It's only silly when I get out to the inevitable dodgy umpiring decision.

What on earth is silly about a bloke hurling a piece of leather at a bloke wielding a piece of willow?

Having lost Travis Head as he's been called up by Australia for the one day series, Yorkshire have signed Jake Lehmann for the rest of the season. He can only play in the Championship but if he's half as good as his dad was then he's a great signing.

But that is the question...Is he half as good as his dad???
I seem to recall him in the Big Bash but thats all.....Adelaide Strikers!!!

Gillespie rates him so that's good enough for me! Head will be a big miss in the hit and run.

Bristolshire v Durham in the third T20 QF tonight.

I did ponder going but watching on TV means that I can flick back and forth with whatever debacle is unfolding at Luton

I think you will find the correct county name is Cheltenhamshire. We just play games in Bristol to bring a little culture to the uncouth peasants!

I'm glad that I didn't watch much of the cricket last night, deciding instead to suffer the Villa

However, I see that my prediction of a debacle proved correct
