Somerset v Worcester
Kent v Yorks
Norhants v Surrey
Bears v Essex

Never mind, maybe The Bears will have better luck next season :)

Wed 17th August 11:00
Somerset v Worc
Bears v Essex
Thur 18th Aug
Northants v Surrey 13:30
Kent v Yorks 14:00

I'm quite happy with that time, i personally prefer a day game to a day/night.
The way they appear to have set fixtures out, if we win we play winners of Somerset v Worcester on Sunday 28th August @ 10:30

Well we have a good record against both Somerset and Worcestershire, so certainly gives us a chance of getting to the final if we can beat Essex.

The test series will be over by then so Cook will be available. He's not been all that loyal to Essex in the same way that Bell was to the Bears when he was with England. When a series ends Cook seems to like to get away from Cricket.  I'd be surprised if he plays.

If Woakes is in the one day squad then they might not let him play but in the past players have been released back to their counties for big one day games.

It was good to see Hants get knocked out, anybody but them in the QF .Bit of surprise to see Evans go out on loan to Northants ,maybe we can do a swap at the end of the season for Ben Duckett ,we seem to be on good terms with them

Which would be good on paper but, eventually, we will lose Duckett to England for most of the season.

I've said for some time that Sam Hain will play for England one day. Anybody agree?

Yes he will.

That's pretty good prices for a Quarter-final, I'd like to go after making the trip up to Headingley to see us hammer Yorkshire the other day, could be tricky for many with an 11AM start mid-week though.

Essex don't need Cook to beat the Bears but I won't complain if he does play.
