Good that the Bears got back to winning ways.Even better that it was a thrashing against our friends from down the M5 the Pears .I was hoping we might skittle them for less than 50 but to bowl them out for 115 will do.With Small Heath losing up in Scotland it turned out to be a rather nice day

V good win yesterday. Let's hope we can qualify in the 50-over comp as I can't see us making the T20 quarters anymore.

Just seen the team to play Northants today and am not impressed .Yet again strange decisions by Brown and Bell. Trott and Barker left out and replaced by Wright and Javid .With a bowling attack that includes a half fit Wright ,Gordon, the undroppable OHD and Javid i fear the worst against a strong Northants batting side .

Why do we persist with OHD?

Ben Duckett scored 220 off 131 balls for England yesterday, he is currently 22 not out against our "attack". It could get messy.

Indeed they did, winning today will put us second with a very good chance of qualification.

With a long journey up to Durham tomorrow I can see why Brown rested Trott and Barker. Hopefully with them back tomorrow we can give Durham a real good go and have qualification very much in our own hands.

Trott and Barker are injured. Barker has a thigh strain and Trott banjaxed the back im pre match exercises. Warks 222/2 chasing 255.

Bears won by 8 wickets. Win tomorrow at Durham and we are through to the quarter finals.

Great win for  the Bears again.Must admit i was fearing the worst with the start Northants made .Good to thrash another of the sides who have beaten us a couple of times this season .All credit to Hain and Porterfield, pity about the run out, by all accounts they were only ten runs short of setting a new record for any wicket for the Bears

Durham have won the toss and have put us in to bat.
Same team as yesterday so Trott not recovered from whatever he tweaked in yesterdays warm up. No Barker again!!!
Hain, Porterfield, Bell, Evans, Ambrose, Clarke, Ateeq,Patel, Gordon,OHD, Wright.
