Not convincing again. Need experience at this stage. Where's Rankin and Wright? We've suggested Barker all through this campaign, who did well tonight, Brown has finally seen the merit in picking him, but possibly too late. Brown has messed up big time with his selections.

Just as i feared another defeat ,i think thats 6 out of the last 7 now in this 20/20 .We put in a better fight than of late but i always felt Notts were always just in front .Our bowling is just not good enough against the better teams, when you are relying on Javid who is a part time bowler and not that very good,Thomason who is a 18 year old novice and OHD who is just not good enough you just know we are going to struggle .I heard Brown say both Rankin and Wright are injured so why let Richard Jones who i note was playing for Leicester today go on loan .Strange decision making, our Dougie reminds of that other scot i had to put up with  earlier in the year Eric Black ,stubborn, boring and clueless.

Went tonight and agree with that.  Decent batting performance, but no real acceleration when required and we ended up about 20 runs short.  With no Woakes, Wright or Rankin, the bowling has too many weak links and poor overs from Hannon-Dolby, Thomason and Javid cost us the game in the end.  I still don't quite understand the logic of bringing an overseas wicketkeeper over when we are short in other areas.

I'm not sure what the thinking was with team selection where Yorkshire are concerned for the earlier matches but if they'd yplayed the team they've selected for the last four games they'd have qualification well and truly guaranteed.

Not proper cricket though.
