OHD is abysmal, but even Clarke's getting the snot pounded out of him. Hope we bat better.

For Clarke, now read Barker.

OHD last over? Well done Bell. Rubbish bowling. Way way too many short balls. Why not bowl Thomason through who did well with 2 wickets? Be lucky to chase down 201.

Only Bell and Brown could explain how they bowled the piss poor OHD instead of Thomason for the final over. Been listening on line to ex players Mal Loye and Lee Daggert and they were saying as well as Northants played the bowling was awful and got what it deserved .Hope i am proved wrong but i can't see the bears getting over 200

Nice write up of the continuation of the D'Oliviera name at New Road

Clarke had an over left, but they give the abysmal OHD the last over? Poor decision making. 87/3 after 11 overs. Can't see us chasing this down. Hope I'm wrong.

And so the collapse starts on cue. Something badly wrong with technique and tactics. Pathetic batting playing across the line. 111/7 now. Same collapse at Yorkshire and Worcester. Brown needs to go.

112/9 now. Shocking collapse again. Don't worry, OHD is in now to save the day!

That was all kinds of rubbish from Da Bears.

Bell played nicely but they're lacking a slugger

Another Brainless,Spineless  performance. Something seriously wrong when a side collapse  so often as the Bears do .Same poor decisions being made by Brown and Bell .Yet again strange bowling decisions .As stated both Clarke and Thomason both had a over left so they bowl the abysmal OHD who just failed to give 50 away.As for the batting, well it was the same old story, Evans, Clarke , Javid and Patel  failing yet again .Thomason and Barker givining their wickets away with brainless shots .Even Bell who had played so well gave his wicket away by all accounts to a stupid shot. Takes some doing to be thrashed by 75 runs in a 20/20 match when you are 60-1 but we managed it and worse still it was in front of the tv cameras to

Last 6 wickets went for 21 runs! Familiar collapse. I'm afraid other counties cast-offs like Poysden and OHD are not good enough.

Yeah your right  Villafirst in what you say .Also to many players assured of their place no matter how they perform .I  keep saying it, how you can ignore Trott and Chopra two of the Bears top scorers in 20/20 and play the likes of Evans and Javid is just beyond me .Nobody loves Bell more me than me,but i dont think he will be a good captain. Yet again his decision to put Northants in on what looked a good pitch for batting surprised the ex pros i was listening to online. They predicted after around 8 overs that Northants would make 200 and no way would the Bears would chase them down .Sadly they were spot on ..Its fast becoming as bad as watching the Villa hammered so often last season watching the Bears

Very disheartening watching that performance last night. Bell batted well but his captaincy was awful, bowling first in those conditions and constantly bringing the useless OHD back despite him going for a boundary with the first ball EVERY time he returned, meanwhile Clarke who only bowled 1 bad over was left with a spare over unused.

Our batting line-up contains too many bits and pieces players, Javid, Evans, etc. just cannot be relied on.

Time to get some proper cricketers back in the side; Ambrose, Trott, maybe Chopra even though he's leaving. Also Wright and Rankin when they are fit are a better option than OHD, or part-time options like Javid and Poysden.

Our game with Leicestershire won't last long. We were all out for 183 on a very Bowler friendly wicket. They are currently 90-5 in response.
