3 off 5
All over with 4 balls left Pears win by 5 wickets.

Poor batting poor management in their reply. 3 losses on the trot.
Dougie admitting not acceptable

Rubbish selections by Brown. Barker was apparently kitted up and ready to go, and left out for Thomason who conceded 19 off one over! Shocking collapse mirroring last week's debacle at Yokshire. Brown needs to be relieved of one day duties. Pathetic surrender, again!

The players on field received a message that Clarke wasn't coming back out so bowled Thomason......then who appears....Clarke who then takes 2 wickets in his remaining 2 overs.
I don't blame Thomason but that 19 run over cost when we were minimum 20 short anyway.

If Yorkshire and Durham win we go down from 3rd to 6th.
We play Leicester at home Sunday who have suddenly started scoring runs and winning games.

Watching the Bears these days is like watching the Villa over the last few years .Shameful performance from them tonight,we have a lot of bottlers in our team sadly. Yet again the likes of Evans, Clarke and Patel fail miserably with the bat .Stupid decision making  from Clarke and Javid I feel Patel is lucky to keep his place on this season's showing as he is not only failing with the bat but not taking wickets. As for playing OHD,Gordon and Thomason  in stead of Barker who we are told by WM is fit and wants to play only Dougie Brown knows the answer to that. To lose to the Pears twice hurts, this one more so as everyone else has been giving them a good hiding. Rant finished

Yes, Warwickshire are in decline. The likes of OHD and Gordon are not befitting of a team like the Bears. Brown needs to go, as for the batting, the team have got steadily worse under Gooch's guidance. Where are Barker, Chopra and Trott??

I agree with you Villafirst Brown has to go ,his decision making at times leaves a lot of Bears fans puzzled How Chopra is selected for the 4 day game but is ignored for the 1 day game baffles every Bear fan i speak to .How Evans is selected over Trott is another puzzle .Barker being left out for the likes of OHD and Gordon is another .Last week last 6 wickets went for 9 ,tonight last 8 went for 19 ,while in between the bottom team in the Championship who had taken only 14 bowling points ALL season make 531 claiming max bowling points .Lots of things not right with the Bears changes needed

Agree with all that Pooligan. T20 Team lacks bottle and is being filled with Journeymen. I was hoping to follow a 'winning' team for once after the misery of watching Villa these last 6 years!

Plunkett 3 dot balls plus Patels wicket
3 off 3 required.
Chris Read facing.
4 to Read to win game for Notts with 2 balls to spare.
Now over to Durham!!!

Top 5 in North division for T20
Notts    12    16
Northa  11    14
Durham 11    12
Worcs   13    12
Bears    10    11

We should qualify but losing streak we're on i wouldn't bank on it. Need to be in top 2 for home draw. Away at probably Gloucester or Glamorgan if we don't.

I'm loving the up and down nature of this Pears side - have tailed off a bit in white ball cricket as the 4 day stuff has improved.

Don't think we'll make finals day (only county never to be there) but hopeful of 4 day promotion now, just to pee off the ECB who even reduced promotion / relegation to one up this year to try & keep Div 1 to mainly test ground counties.

Great T20 south coast Derby.

Excellent bowling by a couple of youngsters for Hampshire saw them defend a very low total.

The kid Wheal looks like a real prospect

Just caught the end of that game. Really should've been a wide in the penultimate ball which might have made all the difference.
