Has there been any change to the coaching staff at Worcs that might have helped?
No I don't think so, he batted at 8 mainly in one day cricket, played very little 1st class cricket until moved to the top of the order..I doubt he will leave Worcester though..part of the dynasty!!

Doesn't Nick Knight sound pissed off..you wouldn't have thought he had played for Warwickshire judging by his commentary.

Average from the Bears. 15 runs below par. Bowling looks vunerable without Rikki.

I honestly don't care very much about the Rounders. Even though I am a member, I doubt I would ever go were it not for the nephew, who is well into the bollox.

I could not help but notice though, that were incredibly flat compared to our usual level of energy. I think the Rikki Clarke Affair  has fucked us deep in the solar plexus, fans and team alike.

We went last night as a birthday thing for my nephew. There was a bit of a fight at the end in the Hollis stand. There were was a group of Worcs fans acting twatishly for most of the second innings, with one prick in particular repeatedly turning to goad the crowd. Not condoning it but it was inevitable that it would cause a reaction given the beer fuelled atmosphere so little surprise when a few waded in, which had the stewards rushing into separate them.

As for the game, Warwickshire never really got going and the total always looked short.

Warwickshire DID get going. We were looking at setting a target of 200 in the early stages. We went to shite more or less as soon as the Powerplay ended.

It was a very poor performance all round. I'm a massive Ian Bell fan but with only 3 wickets down on a relatively flat wicket a run a ball 50 is simply not good enough.
He is way, way talented enough to produce far more than that without even trying to hit people out of the park and as an experienced international and club captain he needs to lead more from the front.

His captaincy at the end left a lot to be desired as well, bring the field in, save the singles and make them try and hit it over you. We were in with no chance from a fair distance out unless we took wickets.

By the way, this Yoooouu beeeaaars or whatever it is, is as sad as hearing Boing Boing at the Albion..

There is nothing in English sport that comes anywhere close to being as annoying as the Exeter tomahawk chop bullshit in the rugby, I really dislike the entire club purely on the basis of that utterly wanky chant.

I've only been to a couple of T20 games at Headingley, both had big crowds and both had a lot of pissed up morons with seemingly no interest in the cricket.

Very disappointing from the Bears again last night .To be honest i think we have just carried on from the second half of last season when lets be honest we were bloody awful.I was surprised and disappointed when basically nothing changed in the close season. Seems to be lots of problems going on in the background. Clarke has personal issues is all we are told,Chopra does not want to play in the 20/20 ,Trott and Barker are never considered .Wright who was decent at Trent Bridge is left out for the likes of the dreadful Gordon and OHD .Poysdon who played fairly well last season was totally overlooked ,when taking the pace off the ball seems to be the way to go in the 20/20 .

If agree with all of that, loved Dougie as a player but i'm not sure he's got "it" when it comes to the top job.

Shame Gilo went to England, which didn't work out and now Lancs are benefitting from a great Director of Cricket. Sorry, but Brown has no plan B. Overlooking the likes of Barker and Wright for the distinctly average/poor Gordon and OHD. A bit like Villa in a way, he doesn't do the obvious. Poor decision making.

As much as i like Dougie Brown,i do think he is not up to the post of Director of Cricket . Some of his decision making is very poor. How he decided on Friday night to leave out Trott,Chopra and Barker who are probably our best players so far this season when he knew we were already without Woakes and Clarke just mystifies me .The Pears are always up for this match and as they are in a good run of form it was obvious it was going to be a hard match.Going back to the Durham Match,it seemed a strange call to call up Poysdon as replacement fo Woakes when there had hardly been any spin used in the game.I thought maybe he was giving him some match practice  for the Pears game ,only for him to not be included

Gloucestershire doing a magnificent job of chasing down over 300 in two sessions to win at Worcester it seems.
