Yes there must be a case for Porterfield to come in for Westwood

A freezing blizzard put an end to the day's play. At this rate, we will have batted only 3 innings in the first three championship games.
Big blow to Yorks having Sidebottom retiring injured during his 6th over.

Couldn't be arsed to go down this morning but at Lunch
Bears 312-6 94 overs
Ambrose 25*
Clarke 4*
4 wkts gone this morning
Chopra Ct Lyth b Patterson 107
Hain St Bairstow b Lyth 15
Trott Ct Lees b Lyth 74
Woakes Ct Lees b Rashid 15

Are Bears gonna make do with 4 batting bonus points require 88 off 16 to get maximum, could be difficult with 6 down

Rikki Clarke out for 51 from 46 balls.
387 for 7.
We have to get 400 and not lose another 3 wickets according to the strategists in the member's lounge.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and predict this match will end in a draw.

We have declared on 453 for 9.
Tea is being taken.
Currently pleasant sunshine but when the sun disappears behind a cloud it is freezing. Snow flurries in the morning session.

Another draw predictably in these wintry conditions. One observation, Westwood should be dropped after a poor start to the season. Bring in Laurie Evans or Ateeq Javid. Westwood is a weakness as an opening bat.
