Played well however palace look lethargic. Have a feeling we have wasted some very good situations and palace may well be different in the second half. We don't  attack with numbers and Gil needs to sort him self. He should get his head down an run instead of stopping and passing sideways

Westwood is shit.

He certainly is, unfortunately. At least we're still level at the break, but I just don't see how we are going to create any decent chances. Our options when we have the ball are so limited that the ball inevitably goes backwards much of the time - only for the defence to give the bloody thing away time & again. It's just as well Palace look a bit half-arsed tonight, otherwise we would be in big trouble. Hey ho, we'll just have to keep hoping against hope that we're pleasantly shocked in the second 45 (yet again)...

Can we judge Kozak after 6 games. Done more in 45 mins than Gestede has in 3 months.

Kozak looks poor. Sorry but he does.  Neither he nor Gestede are up to it. We need a couple of mobile forwards. Westwood is poor.  Bacuna needs to actually cross on his right peg.

That was our good half sadly

Kozak wasn't great, but I thought his movement was much better than Gestede's. In that he actually moved. Occasionally.

I actually thought Kozak has been alright.  He's more mobile than Gestede, seems capable of actually winning a header and has held it up reasonably well.  Unfortunately it does appear the only way we'll score is if Ayew hits another belter.

That was much better but I still don't think we are going to score in a month of Sundays. Oh, for a decent striker. But at least we weren't completely shit for a change.

We have no luck either.  I guarantee if it was at the other end one of the deflections flies in.

Kozak looks poor.

Well, he's never looked good in terms of skills and whatnot, but he seemed to be very much a right place / right time striker before his injury.

Seems to be more about us by reports, just missing final ball.

Interesting the difference in opinion of BBC and sky.  Bbc say probably our best 45 minutes and sky saying Palace dominant.

Who is reporting for Sky?

Unfortunately those two points of view are not necessarily mutually exclusive this season.

Having said that I only saw the last 10 minutes and thought we looked reasonable.

Sort of like a Lambert team in one of it's better periods but minus Benteke.

Keeping the ball well, pressing and occasionally allowing them the best chances.

If Gestede had just put the performance in that Kozac has he would be getting pelters and worse,

Let's just be honest about it, he deserves his go and it's early at the moment but he wasn't very good in that 45 and that's the top and bottom of it

Don't know.  It's the online updates I've got
