Not addressing the right side being exposed as much as we have is tactical naive on the part of Garde. If it was Sherwood in charge he'd be rightly getting smashed for it. West Ham know they can attack down that side all afternoon and eventually it got them what they wanted.
I've still yet to be remotely impressed with Garde. I wasn't expecting a six game winning run, but if anything we're playing more badly than under Sherwood.
We are not. We are just still making silly mistakes
I'd say we look a little more organised, a little less frightened of the ball but still hamstrung by.
1. Guzan in goal
2. Unable to play a settled back 4 with first choice players in their proper positions (even though gobshite had allegedly promised Richards he could play centre back if he wanted)
3. A lack of a focal point to the attack that isn't an ent.
1 and 3 can be rectified from Jan 1st.
He needs Richards fit to come back in at right back and decide if Bennett, Cissokho or A.N. Other is the left back he wants until the end of the season.
Unfortunately a lack of 6 points from this afternoon and Monday will render it all definitely meaningless instead of quite probably meaningless.
