Giving yet another team on a bad run a boost.  Shambles

I wish we could be on a bad run of 2 defeats in 4 months ;)

The problem is what can Garde do? Gil comes on we think we have a better chance of scoring but of course he's crap at tracking back and we're 1-0 down.

It's the same as people clamouring for Traore to start (to be honest I probably would now as we're screwed anyway), yes he's a danger but the little shape and organisation we have goes out the window.

Our defence is shocking though.

Amateurs, complete amateurs, another late goal. Gestede couldn't finish his fucking dinner the big girls blouse. Not a hope in hells chance of turning around being behind again. We are shit.

Felt that goal physically take the wind out of me. Hope the players manage to rouse themselves more than I can for the second half.

Not addressing the right side being exposed as much as we have is tactical naive on the part of Garde. If it was Sherwood in charge he'd be rightly getting smashed for it. West Ham know they can attack down that side all afternoon and eventually it got them what they wanted.

I've still yet to be remotely impressed with Garde.  I wasn't expecting a six game winning run, but if anything we're playing more badly than under Sherwood.

Really? Worse than under Sherwood?

Easily the better side, West Ham not in it. So of course they score out of the blue a minute or two before half time.

It's the Villa way, even when we're not shitter than Minworth waterworks.

I do hope that the faith that we are showing in Garde being a long term answer is justified. Because right now, even though he was dealt a really shit hand, as a tactician he is showing himself to be little better than Sherwood. I'm all for talking a great game and saying the right things because the things he has said are all true. I just don't see any progress at all, and I fully accept much of that is down to the available talent and vacuum of confidence at the club caused by the previous manager.

First half against Leicester was the best we've played all season.  But to be honest, it's all just equally crap.  I'd like to see some sort of improvement from Garde, but he seems equally clueless tbh.

We were on top, we did not score.
We change formation as a result of Sanchez injurie.
Gill does not cover, Hutton exposed.
0-1
Relegated
