Been that long since we won I would just love that feeling tonight of wanting to see match of the day to watch it again. Come in Villa do it!

Don't know if it's the sprouts but I've woken up with real wind in my sails and reckon today will provide our second win of the season. 2-1 (Aspinall, Lillis).

A South Westerly will be gusting up to 37mph according to the Met Office.

I will hoist the mainsail and use the wind to save petrol as I drive up the M5 in the morning

Great idea! My journey will also be wind assisted. Nothing to do with what I ate yesterday of course...

I know this is not the right thread but here goes anyway. I recently went on a tour of Villa Park. One of the things that really struck me was this. We were shown the players lounge and the guy showed us 2 tv's where the players can relax after the game and watch football together. The newcomers apparently sit around one tv and the older lot watch the other one. They are at opposite ends of the lounge and he said hardly a word is spoken between the two sides. This was allowed to happen under Sherwoods watch. That was 3 weeks ago. I hope to god Remi has addressed this situation now. It's obvious to me that if we are to have any chance of surviving this season then the players have to be united and battle for each other. (Leicester spring to mind) I will be looking for signs today that the boys have bonded and are in it together. We will do our bit as ever. Over to you then players.

Quick question, travelling up from Monkspath by taxi. Where is the best place to get dropped off (or are taxis able to approach the ground)? In Trinity Upper A2 for the game.

Cheers!

Probably the area around the church / Witton Arms / Flyover beneath the Expressway. Then a short walk to the left of the Holte pub and into the Trinity.

Wearing my xmas jumper to the game today. If we win I hereby declare I'll wear it to the remaining home games I go to rest of the season so standby for 30 degree + heat for April and May games!

I'm going for a nervy 2-1 win. Ayew and Veretout for us, with the Bubble Blowers scoring late on to leave us sweating for the last few minutes.
