Newcastle are total arse. West ham are a bit better

You do seem to be arguing against yourself a bit.

not really. you had two terrible teams with no confidence with newcastle and us. I don't think West ham are terrible football wise or actually lacking in confidence relatively speaking.

Confidence? Newcastle had just come off two matches where they had beaten Lpool and Spurs back to back.

I to think we have finally hit the bottom of that learning curve against Arsenal and the Newcastle game was the first step in the upwards direction.
Think veretout can be our driving force from midfield in the mould of sir Dennis Mortimer.

Strong feeling that we will secure our 2nd league win of the season, 10 points after 18 games matching Leicester's situation at the same stage of last season 3-0 to Villa

I checked and you are spot on. Something for us to cling onto.

17      (19)   Hull City  18   3   7   8   18   25   -7   16
18      (17)   Crystal Palace   18   3   6   9   20   30   -10   15
19      (18)   Burnley   18   3   6   9   12   27   -15   15
20      (20)   Leicester City   18   2   4   12   16   31   -15   10

A nice bonus of us winning would be seeing the experts in knots about that stat they've been trotting out for the past month about a club never surviving from the points tally we had.

We can't allow a home weekend now go by with the gap remaining the same - we must win, will we?  I think we're beat West Ham,  not quite as positive of what  we have in front of  us  including the Sunderland  game.

A South Westerly will be gusting up to 37mph according to the Met Office.

It will be important to play to the conditions. We did this quite well in SE Scotland last week.

I will hoist the mainsail and use the wind to save petrol as I drive up the M5 in the morning

Good chap,UKR. You are a man for all seasons.

I hope somebody tips off Brad, though. We could do without any cock ups on the goal kicking front.
