I looked at the shirts today as I walked past the club shop. They look and feel cheap. I'm quite disappointed as I thought UA stuff would be better quality.

HeatGear feels cheap?! No way.

Well whatever "HeatGear" is it feels like an old lady's nightie.

I can't be the only one thinking it but I'm not going to be the one to ask him

Are these Premier League prices for a club in the Championship? I'm sure most clubs are selling their's at £45.

I walked into one of the main football shops in Tokyo, yesterday. They weren't selling anything Villa related, but you could buy a Hull home shirt for 11,000 Yen(about £80). Insanity!

They look really good. Best looking for years.

Minor grumble, but the only thing I don't like is the collar on the home shirt.  Really like the away kit though.

That's the best bit for me, the collars. As well as the colours obviously.

Went to buy a couple of home shirts for my kids today but they 'd had to send them all back as they had been marked with the wrong sizes.  Won't be available until September apparently.   In any case I decided I wouldn't pay 84 quid for two shirts that aren't even in Villa colours.   I held one next to the retro shirts from the 60s 70s and 80s and there is no comparison. The latter are a lovely rich shade of proper claret, and a deep shade of sky blue on the sleeves.  The new ones are purple and lilac West Ham looking tat.   Avoid.  Anyone know where I can retro shirts for small kids?

All the pictures of the "claret" training kit so far look more purple-ish than claret...is the colour on the training kits the same as the home kit?

Re: "heatgear" - I really like my new running gear made from this material.  I only bought it because of the Villa association, so a bit of ancillary business that UA have got on the back of the Villa deal.

That's a two-up two-down in Hull.

Pop over the road, how are all those Villa shirts selling in China?
