Well, nice if you support Burnley. The away one is ace, though. I'd like to stay in yellow though this season's away was brilliant.

From someone on Twitter so may well not be the new shirts but must admit I quite like them.

Someone on VT did them, they're mock ups. But yeah they are nice.
They look like something Wallace and Gromit would wear

Makes a change from the 5 pairs of Beavis and Butthead we'd got on the pitch last season.

When are the new kits released? Isn't it usually around Father's Day?

There is no way I could wear them. Are they actually designed to accentuate the over-40 waistline?

Depends on how elasticated they are.  If they get the tension just wrong, I could end up looking like I've got flatter stomach than at any time since I was about 20, but with bigger tits than an 20 year old Sam Fox!

Ha!  I remember when at the Welsh rugby team had Under Armour kits.  They had a replica match kit with the figure hugging design, but they also had a supporters version for the more well fed fans!

That white shirt is great. I like a plain white Villa away shirt.

Reminds me of Leonard, Little, Phillips et al

Under Armour = ATV

The away shirt is fine but the home shirt should have blue sleeves. We had all claret shirts in 1970 and 1987 and got relegated

The kits look alright to me. I don't care about things like kits and sponsors etc.. I just care about on field issues, and the running of the club etc.. Its those things which will decide how successful Villa are.  Besides which I hate modern Football kit sponsors.

If these images are accurate then I think the 'claret' shirt is likely to be a training top rather than the matchday shirt - I doubt there has been anyone at the club senior enough or sufficiently focused on issues like kit designs to sanction a move away from blue sleeves. UTV

I personally don't understand the obsession with blue sleeves.  For me so long as Claret is the main colour on the body and there's a decent amount of blue in there then I'm ok with it.  Tradition is important but I think sometimes football fans get hung up on traditions and refuse to consider any changes.
