Got to admit, I was with you about this. I'd honestly never heard of them in my life until reading this thread when it appeared. I thought it was gonna be about Westwood's vest or something.

Under Armour are now the second biggest sportswear firm in the US behind Nike, having moved ahead of Adidas. They're enormous, trust me.

I will be interested to see the quality of their Villa kits because my sons have had several kits for their teams made by Under Armour that have been of the worst quality. Socks have developed huge holes in a only a couple of weeks, the patches and wording on the shirts have fallen off, etc. Hopefully, they will step up their game for a professional (or, should I say, "professional") club, but we shall see.

Andy Murray is with Under Armour as well switched from Addidas bout a year ago they are big just not had much exposure in Uk.

And they're big here in Japan. But then again, so are New Balance. It's been so long since I've lived in Europe, but are New Balance popular in the UK/Europe?

Given the appalling players that infest our squad I would suggest a deal with a supplier called "Undies Aroma" would be far more appropriate.

The abject poverty of our performances this season is such that Villa need full body armour never mind just an Under Armour.

I suppose we could be sponsored by "No Balance" (given the mess the team is in)  or "Nuke", "Dire Dora" or even  "No chance of a Gola" as for the goalkeeper he can be sponsored by AdiBadAss. There should be good sponsorship opportunities for Gazzoons gloves given the amount of times his hands are both clasped to the top of his head in the Camera shots.

Does it matter who the kit supplier is as long as we get enough money? I am sure most can stitch together a shirt in Bangladesh.

"Under Achievers" is a good one but on a more serious note is this squad of players really fit for Premiership Purpose and whilst I agree they probably could achieve more; I suspect it would be "not a lot more."

I suppose if somebody actually put in a bid to buy the club we could wear "Under Offer."

I'd say they're an average sized brand here, bigger than Errea but smaller than Reebok. The trainers are popular with some people, usually the sorts who shop in Size and like Air Max, and I've seen them a lot in pubs. As a kit manufacturer they're getting more popular, Celtic, Liverpool and Stoke use their stuff.
