I've had a load of UA kit, running tops, leggings and jackets, always been very high quality.

Founded in Baltimore, it's all in the game yo.
Really? So why are they spelling "Armour" the proper way and not the septic "Armor" way? Was their founder a Brit or an Aussie?  ???
That is a curiousity I'd not previously considered. In Ameriglish it would normally be spelt "Armor."

(quick Google)

According to the founder he thought that the phone number 888-4ARMOUR was more memorable for people than 888-44ARMOR

Tom Fox admitted at the AGM that there will be a new kit supplier. Did not say who though but I believe he said it will be an increase on the current deal even if relegated

A kit Supplier ~~ for a Championship side, providing MORE than for a Premier team??

At WHL ~ UA ~ they flood the place out on televised matches, with banner LCDs, static billboards etc.

Because Spurs have a European as well as a Premier TV audience.

UA will not be seduced by a possible dozen TV matches, especially if the toon go down ~ they will get the most matches. We'll have Blues/Derby/Wolves...possibly Walsall as our big TV moments. UA are in the stratosphere of up-market at the mo' ~~~ we can't really expect them.

Neither can we really expect any company to pay us MORE when we are no longer a Prem side.

Unless our previous deal was cabbage shreds !

...and who negotiated that one... :D

I'm sure that at the time the Macron deal was reported as being financially better than the last Nike deal, so not cabbage shreds!

i dont believe that for a minute

it has been quoted there will be a significant financial reduction if we are relegated

A reduction in comparison to the deal if we stay up, not necessarily in relation to the existing Macron deal.

I'm quite looking forward to UA. The Macron kits have been largely awful. I'm still disappointed we've never seen an Adidas Villa kit though.

I must be getting old, never heard of them. They sound like a deodorant brand.

Hopefully they will do a good job, Fox seems fine at this sort of thing, just keep him away from anything to do with the team.

Bring back Umbro and all will be forgiven.

I always liked our Hummel kits. Bit of a unique brand with no other clubs having it either.

I am struggling to understand but I really like this post. Its like a word connumndrum or cryptic crossword or something, ill save it for lunchtime. For what its worth I would imagine that the new deal will be heavily claused depending on us going down and when we come back up and numbered accordingly. It is easy to believe that even the bottom line of it will be more lucrative than a deal struck 4 years ago though

They have not long become the Wasps kit supplier. Quality gear.

I have no issues with Under Armour...they do make quality sport and leisure wear.

It will be the design of the kit that may or may not bring about complaints, but I'm sure the quality will be there.

Yeah they're a definite upgrade on those awful Macron rags we wear right now.
I just hope they're not plastered with those tacky advertisements that are all over shirts in the Championship next season.

So you want the club to spend money but not bring any in?

No, it was more about us avoiding relegation at any cost.
