Adama states his claim on the starting squad.
What did he say?

*stakes claim* for haughty pedantry award 2015 ;-)

We genuinely are going down, aren't we?

It only really struck me yesterday when I caught sight of the table. 6 points between us and 19th place says it all.

That's the thing, we are headed not just for a relegation but for a memorable Sunderland or Derby style one

Well done, Randy, what a custodian you have turned out to be.

At this point resigning from league would be less embarrassing than playing every week and being beat

I'll say this as well going down like this we will start next season already short of confidence there is no chance we will bounce back

Going down will probably enable the team to win some matches again and help the club as whole rediscover its pride. Getting beaten week after week with the odd lucky draw every so often is draining on everybody.

OK we were rubbish. But what makes me sick is the complete acceptance of the penalty by Sky pundits. Would it have been the same at the other end of the pitch? Dodgy at best. Walcott cuts across Hutton who tries to get him out of the way. Then no-one, but no-one mentions the clear foul on the edge of their penalty area before they break away and score the second goal which was 'a joy to watch ... started with a good tackle' - a clear foul in my book. I hate Sky and everything it stands for.

Mentally I'm getting quite used to the thought of relegation. I just wasn't expecting to feel that way in early December.

What I do know is  with the squad we have got getting out of what I call Division 2 will be no picnic.  I doubt it very much that we will succeed at first attempt.  Again  my opinion only.
