No one can seriously be surprised. Its the hope thats killing you all - I'd bet my house now we are going down.

The good news is that I am one of the few who believe it might be the turning point, whereas another survival by the skin of our teeth will just prolong the averageness. Lets go down, clear out, give Remi some serious support, and then with a winning season, we come back and stick the laughs back down their throats.

I understand where you are coming from but fear we wont bounce back. It's a hard league to get out of and we coudl be joined by Sundeland and Newcastle wo also feel they should bounce back.

i think we'd walk back into the PL at the first attempt - the Championship is far worse than people think, we'd be a cut above in that league even as bad as we are. With the right additions, trust in Remi, and vocal backing, we'd be back for the 17/18 season.
Seriously?! With these clowns in charge, we wouldn't get the backing, we wouldn't make the right additions, and we certainly wouldn't be a cut above most teams in the Championship! If (sorry.... when!) we go down, we're down there for the foreseeable.

If we go down would you really trust the chairman to invest in a team to get us up, because I don't. Kiss goodbye to the few decent players we have as soon as we're down.
The Championship would be an unmitigated disaster.

I cannot see us ever scoring

Hard to believe we actually scored in the last 2 games. How did that happen.

We truly are stunningly inept at the back. No structure, always on the back foot, constantly giving it away, being turned inside out. Absolutely no discipline at all.

Shite control from Sinclair - Adama would be a better option.

We can't even get up for Prem games at home. You think our lot would be chomping at the bit to play in the Chump? I fear an expectant, self-loathing lot that have no gumption to bounce right back.

Well one thing is for sure - we will get to see who is right because we are utterly shit and relegation certainties. The Championship it is folks - get used to it and fast

I'm glad I didn't go today. It's as soul destroying watching on TV as it is there in the flesh.
Villa Park looks a thoroughly depressing place.
