Hit the reset button in the summer, get rid of the clowns on and off the pitch, get rid of that shitty badge which promised so much and delivered fuck all (and revert to our glorious round one).

We are Aston Villa. We will be back. Not sure how long it will take but we're definitely not escaping this time. The club is a disgrace. From the boardroom to the pitch.

Thierry Henry is a bit of a c*** isn't he?

You didn't say that when he played for Barcelona.

Funnily enough I read something about his time at Barcelona and his attitude towards some of the promising players they had, notably Iniesta. He was told not to be such a c***.

No one can seriously be surprised. Its the hope thats killing you all - I'd bet my house now we are going down.

The good news is that I am one of the few who believe it might be the turning point, whereas another survival by the skin of our teeth will just prolong the averageness. Lets go down, clear out, give Remi some serious support, and then with a winning season, we come back and stick the laughs back down their throats.

You think we'd come straight back up with this lot?!

No - thats why I said "clear out". If we stick with this lot, we'd struggle again

Averageness? There's nothing vaguely average about this club. It's a shithouse. And this is what's really painful. Shit teams are one thing. But this whole club has become shit. As much as it sickens me to say it, Ian Holloway was right.

Why did we not start the game playing like this?

The "fuck it" mentality only kicks in when we've already lost the game.
