Let's learn from the Leicester game, 10-0-0 for the second half. Can we ply 2 keepers?
We can - Bunn on for Gestede, Guzan up top.

It is a pretty amazing situation to be in, winning at half time.

I honestly don't know what to do or how to react, it is so odd.

It's a bit like when all those East Germans crossed the border when the wall finally came down and started wandering around decadent western shops in their double denim, looking about them, totally unaware of how to take in what was happening to them.

That's how this feels.

Obviously we'll still lose, but even so, it's all very strange.

Thing is it is nothing like that game because against Leicester we were legitimately the better team. 1-0 was very well deserved and even though we went 2-0 up slightly against the run of play, we still were in control. It's not like that today and if we continue to sit back, defend deep, give the ball away, lose our markers, stupid goalkeeping lapses, we will not only concede, we will lose.

For some reason, I find myself laughing about the fact we've scored a goal. I have never laughed when we score a goal before. It's almost a comedy though?

I laughed too!!!!

Normally we're defeated by now, I can't take this "hope" thing.

Now I'm going to be pacing around like a caged tiger.

just saw some of those Southampton misses again, fucking hell some of them were sitters

Adama for Gestede (move Ayew up top)
Richardson for Bacuna (bacuna will either get sent off or give away a penalty for sure)

Thought Veretout and Gueye got a bit more into the game in the last 10 mins before half time, Veretout definitely has a touch of class about him

You know when you have those dreams when you are pinned down by an invisible, malevolent force and can't get up from your bed. I'm like that on the sofa. I can't move. What the fuck happened there?

We've had a lot of luck today and got away with a few ricks. I hope this could be our day. Trouble is when you get a lucky result you need to kick on from it and we didn't after the City game.
Keep going Villa, but honestly, our backline isn't going to keep a clean sheet today. It just isn't...is it??
That said, they look nervy at the back too. We could score more. I think we'll need to, for a result today.

You just know the 2nd half will go pretty much like this:

Right lets soak up the pressure and hit them on the...Oh damn it Southampton have scored.

Okay lets just consolidate and go ag...oh shit 2-1 down

You mean like glue two together into some kind of Viz SuperKeeper?

That'll be whatever you've been drinking this afternoon. I've got the same with the hotel bed now... I blame Leffe Royale. This entire thing feels like some sort of weird trip right now, and a bottle of the beer is sat there laughing at me.
