What a complete and total fucking shambles. Not only are we being relegated, we're not even making any effort to avoid our fate.

I'd take the chuckle brothers.

They would be great at Tiki-Taki.

To me, to you, to me, to you.

We're not being thrown out kicking and screaming. We've gone and fetched our own coat and slinked off whilst everyone else is getting pissed and enjoying the party. I've never see a club act as pathetic as we have this season.

Applause on an otherwise shocking day.

I think it's an indication that in all probability the gate on Saturday will become the norm from now on. Anybody who wants to spend the next few months watching a pathetic farewell lap is a much better man than I.

I wonder how many half season ticket this club have sold in December. It is disgraceful we had not manage to bring someone in to help us with lack of goals. I won't be buying a season ticket next year. I am saving my money for trip to USA, and I want to see how we are performing next season. I am sick of the shit they serve at Villa Park. I want European football, exciting football, exciting players and games against Barcelona, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and co. Not interested in games against Wycombe or Norwich. I am fed up with football media and people acting and thinking we are a small club. We are a big club and it is about time we start acting like one not be a pathetic hopeless team.

As others have pointed out, Players in the first week of the season could have got us extra points in some of the matches. Instead we hear a story approx 10th Jan that they were flying across to discuss potential buys with Randy.

Three weeks later and the inevitable outcome of that dithering comes out. But it shouldn't be any surprise as we traditionally don't seem to bother with January since we bought Bent.

Here are the Principal Risks and Uncertainties as stated in the last set of accounts (and I always thought these weren't made up).

'The key risk facing any club in the Premier League is that of relegation.  The Board attempts to mitigate this risk by providing the manager with first class training facilities (true enough) and appropriate payroll and transfer budgets and through generous support to the academy.'

Strong rumours of signings at Villa Park today. It was in the offices, a couple of letters apparently.

Perhaps because everybody knew it would be very quiet at Villa Park today, Tom Fox and co have taken a day's annual leave which Randy authorized.

Let's be honest. If you do give up your ST for next year. It's not going to be hard to get tickets on the day!!
This is the darkest time for us since following in 1990.

I feel sorry for the season ticket holders in all this. I'm not one because of Lerner Fox and co but I still go to the majority of home games. They paid their money last close season for the WHOLE season only to find that Lerner and the so called board have given up on 31.12.15. I would be wanting a refund!!!!Its OK for the fans to invest in the whole season but Lerner, Fox etc clearly aren't as they are only intent on lining their own pockets. Shameful!!!!

Our 'transfer committee' worked day and night on their laptops analysing players for the whole year on their mega salaries to obtain the right players to save us from our fate.
Transfer deadline day has come, our fate has been decided by them, so they are not fit to stay in the job.
A total, utter, shambles from top to bottom, they deserve all that's coming to them, which is next season being battered by the likes of MK Dons.
Once again, many thanks Lerner from an Aston Villa fan of fifty years.
