VID yes Gestede has been a nightmare and the others might have been in some cases a upgrade on what we had, but that was not going to be hard and I am sorry those players you mentioned have still only garnered two wins up to the 1st February.
Sorry again quantity over quality even thou some of them were not cheap.

Easy for me to say as being stuck out here, but I hope our support show the same level of commitment as the club has during this window, I know season ticket holders have forked out so cant blame them for going, but any match by match supporter, I hope tells them to stuff it.

If you're already stuck with your ticket (like me) then fair enough, but other than that don't give them a penny. Don't buy a beer, a bovril, a programme or a pie.
Sounds like the Blues approach to me. I can't see what that would achieve, it wouldn't get us sold any quicker.
Anyway, fans will make up their own minds.

Its not particularly intended to achieve anything - I just don't feel like giving them any more of my money when we are being taken for granted.

Looks like Aston Villa, Sunderland & Manchester United target Mathieu Debuchy will join Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season.

Another one to knock off the list

Paul E quite right about net spend, that was in answer to a statement that money was available, but again we went down the line of quantity not quality and if we wanted quality as well as quantity we would have spent alot more.
Sell Benteke for 32 and try and replace for 9, good plan that.

According to the text thingy on the Beeb Michu has turned us down. Don't know whether to be sad or glad.

Well, we didn't pay much more than that to buy him in the first place.

Quote from Garde

‘It was also a financial problem, yes. But it is not my job to explain that to you again. Probably the club realised mistakes has been made in the past, probably they didn’t want to do it again.
‘As a new manager I would have expected new faces to support my change. Not only for me but the club, team, squad to be strengthen very good decision. We missed these two targets. It’s unfortunate.’
Garde added: ‘It took me a few weeks to have an assessment and I made a recommendation to the board to try to sign players to the team, we need that. ‘Some games we are close to compete, then we need a little bit of quality. I cannot do more. I tried to sign them, I worked on very hard, but for different reasons we couldn’t.’

So the board have fucked him over basically

Garde just on Sky - Villa struggling to sign players, he has identified targets but ht eclub "for ine reason or another" cannot fland them. Confirmed that Richards and Lescott will not be allowed to leave this season.

Am I the only one who read that like the Policeman in Allo Allo?

That doesn't exactly sound like a harmonious relationship does it.  Feel for the bloke I really do.

I cant imagine for one moment though that anyone thought we would have won only one league game since his appointment.

Just seen Garde's press conference. I am not expert in body language but he doesn't seem the happiest of bunnies.

It all reads like he's been fucked over by the board. It wouldn't surprise me if he walks very shortly.

Well at least the club have finally succeeded in making the 'Senderos/Cole/Richardson' transfer-window seem like a successful one.

Possibly even worse than the Dawkins January
