The player himself has been linking or liking (or whatever the fuck it is you do) on Instagram articles linking us to him.

Seems big at six foot and quick, very neat in the box too. Maybe the mobile forward we need and would suit either the first or the second division.

Considering that a lot of our play going forward is from the fullbacks it would make sense to bring in a better right back that can use the ball better.  There is too much hesitancy in Bacuna's play which sees him stop turn and play the ball back which breaks up any momentum we have at the time.  I think Garde is reluctant to play Richards there just in case Okore gets injured and is nursing the two of them to keep at least one of them fit.

If we are going to make one signing for the future, goalkeeper would make sense.  Loans for the rest of the positions (CD, CM and forward) until the end of the season would make most sense as we will probably be able to get a higher calibre of player.

Which is strange as the attacking but should be his forte, as he was never signed as a defender.  I think that demonstrates the mental state of all the players currently, they're paralysed by fear.

Hopefully this is the week that we do some business.  Three upcoming games that could be won, Baggies and West Ham away and then Norwich at home.  Seven points and we might be in with a shout, particularly if we have two or three key signings in the squad too.

If we don't sign anyone at all this window it'll be because the board has completely given up any hope of staying up and want to save their money. a pointless gesture as we have an opportunity to embed players.  This is not what the fans deserve at all.

This Christian Santos fella, I'm not 100% sure but I think it's his proper twitter account and he says he has a 400k Euro buyout clause in his contract, sounds like a reasonable gamble if that is true. Looking at his obligatory youtube highlights he scores a lot with his head and turning in crosses, reminded me of Gestede's youtube clips.

That would be good if we had a clue how to cross. There's only really Amavi and Bacuna who can do that - the one's crocked and we only seem to be playing possession football, which I would be fine with if we weren't desperate and creating things.

Just had a look at his twitter account.  It's €300k for teams outside the top 4 & €500k for a top 4 team

Just read a bit about him.  He's playing in the Dutch 2nd tier isn't he?

No, he plays for NEC Nijmegen in the top flight.

Well at the price he might be worth a look to see if he can be useful in the Championship next season

I don't think this is the time to be shopping in the bargain basement again.
