I get the feeling that Garde is angry with what is going on professionally from some of our players and when he see's the abuse going on, towards him too he's fucked off. I just think he wants to stay and start the rebuilding process though, it's just a lot of a bigger job than he expected and it needs to start sooner than he expected too.

Contracts being cancelled would be a decent way to start. Some of them are a complete embarrassment to us.

Contracts being cancelled is not going to help him pick up his first win though. Transfer cash might though and I'm sure that's what he wants first and foremost.

Seems Debuchy will be confirmed this week, loan deal to end of the season.

He's better than what we have there but hasn't played a lot in last 18 months and was the regular RB when Newcastle finished 16th a few years back, we need much more.

Perhaps the trip is to find out if Randy took the cheque book with him the last time he was over.

Anyone else think we should have a go for Shelvey? Poor season at Swansea, clearly not happy, but would add a lot to our midfield IMO.

Was going to mention him yesterday actually, would certainly improve our midfield but think he'll get another premier league team.

Debuchy did play holding midfield earlier in his career too.

When we are down is James Morrison on a free worth a look? Consistent and better than our midfielders bar Veretout

Contracts being cancelled and Remi getting his own players in would be the best situation. If they are buying from abroad again, getting them a few months experience over here now and getting some momentum going and turning around this appalling dressing room would be a decent January.

Unless they're bringing Lampard and Pirlo back with them what's the point of going to NY when phones and Skype work so well these days?
They don't work in his castle he is cut off from the world as we know it and everything is rosy. Perhaps they are going to the christening of his new unicorn.

Go to a few Swans games during the season have many Swans ST holders as mates.

They will bite Newcastle's hand off for £10m for him, and I'd also highlight Alan Curtis' recent comments regarding Shelvey.

Appears we already have enough problems in our squad, I wouldn't add another.

There's a video going around down here at the moment showing him seemingly giving up during the defeat to Oxford on Sunday. One to stay clear of in my view.

I'd genuinely rather see Garde spend the january budget on cancelling contracts, rather than getting loans in who might be able to engineer a 19th place finish

Richardson, Senderos, Nzogbia are all up at the end of the season anyway.

Guzan, Kozak, Bennett, Okore, Lescott and Hutton are out of contract next season. I'd be looking at selling Guzan, Lescott, Bennett and Kozak now if we are going to get any sort of fee for them rather than letting them tick down.

I 'd better remember to bring my boots next time I come to VP in that case.

Can't see anyone paying money for Guzan, he isn't likely to find a club in England again after this seasons showing. Maybe a US team will take him off us and cover the wages.

Hutton will be fine in the championship, I'd keep him. Richardson isn't going to attract a fee. I'd keep him next season as cover.

NZogbia looks like going, but we may have to pay him to leave.

The only players we have that look like they are attracting any interest that we would get a fee for, are Kozak, Abonlahor and Ayew (sadly). I can't believe Albion are stupid enough to buy Agbonlahor off us, but hopefully that will happen. I can see Lerner taking an offer for Ayew if one comes in.
