I'd just be wary because he's not in good form this season and has supposedly fallen out with people at the club. Can we afford another one like that?

That was my first thought too. But then Jordan Ayew also came with a few whispers of him being a troublemaker and a not great scoring record - we could do with another one (or ten!) like him.

I've always wanted one of our players to do a somersault like that when they scored

He might get a bit rusty playing for us.

We already have a striker who can score lots of goals (in the Championship) and a tricky winger who can create and score a lot (in the Championship). The problem is, they're trying to be regulars in our first XI.

It's started....

What - the Mirror talking shit?

:-) stunning amount of guess work with the only 'fact' appearing to be where Remi lives :-)

Do they know exactly where Remi lives? Because I'd like to go round this evening with a few tips for him.

He went to a restaurant in the Mailbox a few days before Christmas if that helps as a starter

Seen loads of players parked in Brindleyplace over last few years. Think they stay in serviced apartments by no.10 Brindleyplace. II'll keep my eyes open for him!

Any French experts seen much of Beuavue? Apart from being an alien from a children's film last year?

See ....http://www.whoscored.com/Players/25599/Show/Claudio-Beauvue

also ....

( Looks good on here..but then, they all do, on youtube  !)

A number of news outlets now saying we have bid 3 mil for him ....Godzvilla!

I think we'd need someone who can cross the ball to get the most out of him so that's us screwed.

Thought the same.
Maybe we should look at the guys crossing the ball to him

Playing devils advocat slightly but so was Rudy Gestede. Maybe we dont need to look too far from home?

Gestede has had one prolific season in his entire career and we went for him on the back of that.  Daryl Murphy at Ipswich did the same last season and has reverted back to type this one.

One big difference between the Championship and Pl is that in the former the crosser has more time on the ball to get the cross in.  This helps the likes of Gestede.

He made bits of Stoke and Liverpool in the cup too

Looks as if Craig Conway and Ben Marshall were the ones supplying the bullets for Gestede last season - http://www.statbunker.com/competitions/MostAssists?comp_id=488
