All you Guzan haters will be in for a shock if you think it will make much difference

Unless we sign Loris or Petr Czech any goalkeeper playing in from of our fumbling defence will make just as many mistakes
someone on here the other day was saying getting rid of Guzan could save us 10-20 points your living in la la land if you believe that,
no goalkeeper is perfect, and I guarantee any new goal we bring in will make a few cock ups that you could argue will cost us points, like Guzan

if we sign a average prem keeper it will make zero difference only cost us an extra few million
On the other hand during Lambert's first seasons when Guzan played brilliantly it seemed he saved us a good half dozen points at least.

I must agree though to perform well behind our back four we need a goal keeper who is on top of their game every single second for every single match.

I can only assume that there is a massive mutual lack of trust between the back four and Guzan.
The number of basic mistakes they make between them suggests that no communication whatsoever happens.

With a decent keeper on form confidence breeds confidence too. Guzan's form has slumped so much he should not be near the first team and not replacing him in the summer when Tim was not keeping Given on was another major mistake.

If you sign better quality players, who aren't suffering from a crisis of confidence, then you will improve.

Reportedly paying up Nzogs contract and telling him to fuck off and have instructed scouts to start monitoring Championship players who are coming to the end of their contracts this season.

Nursey saying we'll go after Championship level bosmans to adapt the new league.. at least it'll be ideal for the finances. We'll be self-sufficient and it will allow us to build something special.

Bright future

The only way I would pay him off is if it is only a % of his wages through to the end of the season.  Otherwise, I would tell him to not bother turning up at the club and his wages will be paid at the end of each month.  Why should he benefit by being paid up in full and have the possibility of going to another club as well.  He has done f*** all for us so why should we do anything to benefit him.

Can't help but have a dig.  Even to the point of Garde only renting until the summer.  With what he has had on his plate, when would he have had time to look for somewhere to live.  The best time to look around would be at the end of the season and, guess what, he has only taken on a place until the end of the season.

What do you mean, Guzan haters, I quite like the bloke. I just don't want him playing in Goal for us.

Cech would fall to pieces in this team
