think we will have to something similar to what we had to do with TFM1 when he broke the bank for a proven goalscorer, just getting my prayer mat out now and chanting Zlatan, Zlatan,Zlatan

I read something yesterday that suggested Ilori might be going back to Liverpool in the New Year. Is that possible under the loan conditions?

No, I don't think so. (According to something I read yesterday.)  The only way I believe he could go back is if Villa don't want him so the decision would rest with Garde.

He's been struggling with injuries apparently.

Joe Allen no but I'll call flamini and maybe arteta.
Look at this :
Mathieu Flamini out of contract in summer along with arteta both to be relased. Both are Perfect captain material and influence on young midfielder s around. If arsenal don't qualify like to see both in janurawy not  a pre contract . Flamini would be most likely . Hes a french man who speaks good english, good charcter and footballer in his postion . Hes Garde type of man  and can handle a few more seasons. It would be great move for all involved.  I think flamini for sure should be brought in for passion.

And I think I'm being very realistic reasonable and clever in suggestion.

Flamini would be a decent shout, we need experienced cover for the two deep lying midfielders

Left back is a priority now even to bring in someone on loan, you would think Gibbs and Clichy would be open for a move to get themselves into international reckoning.

Hopefully Garde will have other ideas that dont involve Richardson, Clark, Lescott, Cissokho or Bennett at left back after Jan.

a loan would be better or this left back can play another position when Amavi make full recovery.

I think we will recall one of our loaned out LB's. A new forward is still a priority. I imagine though Garde will get good support from the board whichever he decides, and he might think we need both.

If Sherwood is right about others making decisions on transfers, then I think it will be more of the same as the summer come January.

Sherwood was fucked off his utter gash suggestions weren't agreed to. Garde looks at the set up as something he is more familiar with and understands the notion of a team approach to player acquisition with him having the final say. I am way more confident in Garde being happy with the types of player we have been targeting and being a big part in the types of player we go after.

There was some probably baseless claim that Remi wants Joe Allen from Liverpool. Not sure why - maybe in for, or to compete with, Sanchez and/or Veretout? - but I've always thought he's a very good player, and another one the Liverpool fans are unfair about. It would have to be for a decent price, however - Liverpool paid roughly twice too much for him.

Anyway, like I say, it's probably all horse bollocks.

Hope not, unless he's really cheap. Don't rate him.

Wasn't suggesting our policy in the summer was a bad one.  I just think we'll be looking abroad again, as opposed to some of the domestic names that have been mentioned.

Sorry, yes I agree with that. The English market is so inflated.

Do you honestly believe Charlie Austin would agree to a pay as you play contract? Do those things even exist anymore?
