Oh and I thought Hutton was our best player today.

So did I.

Me too. Sanchez worked hard and looked good too

They're really hurt by this. It's so funny. Gestede has upset them. I remember when they were just as shit as we are. They've obviously forgot.

They really are a bunch of arrogant bastards these days. Very bitter, telling us to enjoy the Championship and so on.

Oh and I thought Hutton was our best player today.

Quite a few have been paid that compliment on here today. I think a decent case can be made for Richards, Clark, Hutton, Sanchez and Gil. On top of that all the others had their good moments and looked more enthused than of late.

Personally I'm buzzing, not least because me saying I wanted Remi as our new manager has been met with such incredulity by Villa fans and noses alike out in the real world. My assertion that we needed a manager to suit our players might make a bit more sense to them now.

All because they didn't win a game for only the 3rd time this season isn't it? And Joe Hart threw a tantrum because he couldn't control a ball. Why is it when you win a few things you suddenly become self important and think you are entitled to everything? Man City fans seem to be turning in to twats.

Best response is along the lines of "well you'd know having spent so long down there"

Having found that pic on Blue Moon I read the first 10 pages or so of their post-match thread. It's very very funny.

http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/villa-vs-city-post-match-thread.317105/page-5

Page 5 last post is priceless.  What would her have done after three years of Lambert and six months of Sherwood?  You's see the explosion in Alpha Centauri with the naked eye....

I got to about page 25 when I gave up. It was very funny, but a couple of things struck me. I'm glad we moderate as we do as the amount of insults they were giving each other was ridiculous. And also just how many plastics they have now that think they have some divine right to success.
Some of that stuff is absolutely hilarious!

Scrape a draw at the home of the finest football club in the Universe and they're moaning!

Honestly, where were they when they were sh*t?

They used to be respected and admired by fans far and wide. Everybody sympathised that they had to share a city with the red filth. In a few short years they have turned into them.

They're bitter as fuck on that Bluemoon.  If we ever get good again I'd hope we retain our collective sarcastic dignity!

The first game for a long time when I've been able to say that no Villa player had a bad game.

Blue Moon forum poster 'avoidconfusion' appears to be very confused:

According to the Manchester Evening News' website, Delph is quoted as saying that the support from the €iteh fans was so noisy he couldn't hear any hissing.

I guess it's a case of once a liar, always a liar...

I liked them when they were always shit, skint, and playing in a ground resembling a fly-tipped builder's skip.

That Bluemoon forum is disgraceful. I'll take a lifetime of mediocrity if it means we don't end up sharing a fan base with twats like that.

Only saw the first 45. Really good stuff. The midfield trio worked extremely hard and found each other with ease. I had long suspected that Sanchez has plenty of quality on the ball; it was just a severe lack of options to pass to under Dim Tim's tactics that led to him being caught in possession so often.

Gil looked fantastic from what I saw. Sinclair didn't impress me much - I was hoping he'd bomb down the flank all match and get in behind Sagna plenty but he seems pretty low on confidence and decided to stand off Sagna. I'd prefer to see Grealish out on the left.

Impressive performance and a great point.

Clark hit the nail on the head when asked what difference Remi has made since his arrival, he replied we were organised on the pitch and in training.
