The most unfair thing this season is that we don't get to play Aston Villa.

Swansea will pass the life out of us next week , we won't score , 0-2 or 0-3 easily.

The feeling at the start of the season suggested it might be an edge of your seat season.Well I'm slumped in my seat.No longer angry just very sad.
Maybe the players feel the same.

Richards and Gueye I thought put a shift in.

Richards always puts a shift in.

And he'll be gone next summer because as a player he won't accept this embaressing attitude towards defeat that everyone at the club has. There's always a rainbow round the next corner, that we are promised, coming soon an improvement from the embarrassment we've become, you just have to keep your gob shut, get behind the boys and keep paying and it'll happen. Well will it fuck, they're running the club in to the ground.

Lerner, complete failure, needs to go asap
Sherwood, office junior appointed as global manager, needs to go asap
That twat Fox and his false narratives, another money man who lacks the experience of the role he's taken on, needs to go
Almstadt, from what I've read another money man from Arsenal

Is there anyone at the club, from top to tea lady who has any fucking experience in doing what we are paying them immense sums of money to do?

Goals change games and we gifted them two of the softest going. You do that anywhere and you're going to struggle.

Guzan is appalling. What a way to waste half an hours good work where we looked the better side and had created the only decent opening of the match.

After that it's always a tough task.

The routine nature of the soft goals we concede is systemic. Sherwood hasn't got the capability to organise us. A new manager please.

I fucking hate coming to this place.

4 points now from the last 11 league games and throw in the Cup Final debacle as well, the man's gotta go. Don't wait until after the Swansea game, get Rodgers in now.

We wouldn't beat them if we did.

God, that thought messes with your mind.
Its like that puzzle where you go round and round, up some steps, but always in the same place.

Rodgers failed with a budget of 300 million, he'd have fucking no chance of succeeding at Villa.

Just a question of time now, waiting for Fox to admit he's made monumental fuck up and has given Tactics enough of a chance.  Anyone who thinks he can turn this around obviously isn't familiar with his flounderings this season.  Hopefully it will happen before we are too far gone to save ourselves - which is getting pretty close now.  Sometimes you need the ruthlessness of a Levy type.  Problem is Lerner and co usually follow a sacking by appointing someone even worse.

We're only 7 points off 11th

I wonder if that will be Sherwood's new "win ratio".

I'd heard Chelsea were having a poor spell but I never realised they were that bad. luckily for them we were there to roll over and hand them the 3 points. First half was as good as we've been since Leicester but we never took advantage of the one real opportunity we created. As much as we tried to press Chelsea, we rarely won the ball. Liverpool at Anfield showed us how to do it but we were just going through the motions.

I really don't think it's possible to name a Man of the Match, all were poor and nobody stood out other than in a negative way.

To name the Worst Player of the Match is another matter.

Guzan - Bananas for feet - 5
Hutton - Committed - 5
Richards - Not a centre half, gave Costa all the space he needed - 4
Lescott - No longer a centre half, uncomfortable with the ball at his feet - 4
Richardson - Tough but clueless when advancing with ball - 4
Westwood - Seems so uncomfortable having to play a physical game - 4
Gueye - Poor lad must be knackered trying to do everything himself - 6
Gil - Floats around, tidy but not used effectively - 5
Grealish - Nice to watch but rarely produces anything - 5
Ayew - Great desire but not much more - 5
Gestede - One chance and he fluffed it. Easily marked out of games - 4

Subs:

Amavi - Normally good first half followed by a poor one where he makes a stupid mistake. 2nd half performance today. 4
Adama - Today he looked like a circus act and not a very good one. 3

Sherwood - He's so out of his depth it's frightening. He can blame mistakes all he wants but when he doesn't know what he's doing, you can hardly blame the players that they don't either.

Richards always puts a shift in.

Actually he puts in at least two shifts covering for the useless twats around and behind him.

Guzan and Westwood stand-outs today for ineptitude. Richards, Gana, Grealish and Gil did well and Ayew showed some nice touches. Still don't get why our crossing is so poor considering we supposedly have the 'best header of the ball in the Premiership'
