That's the worst Chelsea side I can remember - even Newcastle got a point against them - and they didn't have to break sweat to beat us. They won't sack Sherwood this week - after all, a 0-2 loss to Chelsea away probably looks about right on paper for outsiders taking a cursory look in, and he can (rightly) blame stupid mistakes for this result. If they were going to do it they should have done it 2 weeks ago for getting just 1 point from 7 games, largely against supposedly 'easier' teams, and spent the international break getting someone competent in. The rot set in at the end of last season with the thrashing from Southampton, the home defeat by Burnley, and the no-show at the Cup Final, and it's gained momentum this season. He has to go, but dithering Lerner will probably leave it until Christmas, by which time we'll be so far adrift no manager in his right mind will touch us.

It wouldn't have been half as bad if Chelsea had got their mojo back, played with pomp and played us off the park.
But they didn't. They were very, very ordinary.

That's all, ordinary.

But that was more than enough to roll us over.

Yes I agree Gana was our best player.
We missed a great chance at nil nil gestede sliced over after a nice build up. Minutes later was game over.
Sack him before the coach gets to the motorway.

They should have acted 2 weeks ago and moved heaven and earth to get Rogers or Moyes in.

We are sleepwalking to relegation under this regime. 1 point after the last 24 is incredible by anyone's standards...especially in a year when there is not even 1 great side in the League.

Right now Gana is too good for us.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to bail out pretty sharpish.

And the transformation into Lambert is complete.

So do we have to wait to get comprehensively outplayed and beaten by Swansea next week or could perhaps Tim just fuck off now?

So we lost then. I finally realised after many years, that we have something in common with our neighbours across the city.

We're tired and weary.

If he's still in charge next Saturday it really could be his Bolton game.
