We've competed fairly well and haven't been overrun, despite having Gil, Grealish and Ayew on. Clearly they've been instructed to work harder tracking back, and it's had the desired effect of making us more solid. We haven't created much, mind, but then Chelsea are keeping their shape well and not exposing their back four much.

Guzan, however, needs to fuck off and play volleyball or something, because his feet are about as much use as tits on a salmon.

Guzan rubbish, Lescott rubbish. Prepare for more 'not my fault' stuff from Sherwood.
He's hardly to blame for that
Im afraid Given being allowed to leave without bringing in a proper replacement is.

Given was hardly any better. It's why he's sat on the bench at Stoke.

to be fair Given didnt make many howlers

No fair enough and he didn't really play enough anyway. But did you ever watch him trying to defend crosses?

I understand , but this bloke has cost us more points

At least we've got plenty of time to get an equaliser.

why would you give the ball to lescott anyway - so thick

Maybe his instructions are to give it to the nearest defender rather than hoofball.

you would think they would say but not if the players under pressure

no blame on Tim (not a fan) for not picking Amavi - he was absolute garbage last game.

For sure. He's also won us a lot of points too let's not forget. A couple of seasons ago he was a key reason to us staying up. But recently he's found ways to be utterly dreadful at times and what is most concerning there is no sign of it coming to an end.
