Guzan rubbish, Lescott rubbish. Prepare for more 'not my fault' stuff from Sherwood.
He's hardly to blame for that
Im afraid Given being allowed to leave without bringing in a proper replacement is.

Given was hardly any better. It's why he's sat on the bench at Stoke.

to be fair Given didnt make many howlers

Any changes required by Sherwood for the second half? No comedy replete please!

Well it wasn't.

I think the point is that Sherwood will go into self-preservation mode.

He might, but it doesn't change the fact that for that goal it had nothing to do with him. There's a million things to smash Sherwood for but if something genuinely has nothing to do with him, why be critical?

Peter's got what I mean - everything's a shambles. Sherwood gets let off the hook for rubbish tactics by rubbish and insane individual errors.

I think he's been well and truly criticized by almost everyone on here for his rubbish tactics in recent weeks. That hasn't been the case today. The tactics have been pretty sound overall, we should have taken the lead, and those tactics that seemed to be working now need to be changed because of individual errors. Not because of anything Chelsea really did.

Sigh. Guzman again, Lescott, again. Pair of fucktards.

You or your autocorrect always get Brad's surname wrong. Make it stop!

I'd like to see Guzan subbed at HT . Send a clear message out

I would be fuming with him and very tempted, but I would also be thinking that would be using up another sub option.

No fair enough and he didn't really play enough anyway. But did you ever watch him trying to defend crosses?

With belief, we are still in this.
So game over then
Go out then.

Chelsea look a tired side and plain to see why they've got off to a bad start - teams that have a real go at them have every chance of winning. We started well but gifting them goals just puts any good work to waste. Sherwood can't be blamed for Guzan's stupidity - he needs to be dropped - surely Bunn can't be any worse

I think the tactics have been unspectacular - it's fairly standard sit-back-and-hope stuff. Bringing in Richardson for Amavi looks a terrible move, to be honest - he's been quite bad.

Pretty much any other team would be beating Chelsea at this point.

That is how the commentator guy always says it though.

Well I certainly didn't expect anything spectacular in terms of tactics, but they had been sufficient up to the goal to match, even outwit Chelsea at times. The second point of not picking Amavi is indefensible. I have no idea what he was thinking or indeed what Richardson provides.
