If we don't win or lose I can see us nicking a point here.
Is Tambling playing ?

Charlie Aitken must be hoping he isn't!!

Sherwood will probably put Hateley at left back and play Charlie up front !

hmmmm  a clever ploy!

In London so going to this one.

When you are down on your luck, players out of form, not getting the rub of the green, media mutterings about the Manager.

Don't worry about a thing, Here comes the Villa, ready made to turn up and breathe confidence back into the team.

They will get more than us, another embarrassing day at the Bridge.

A 1-2 win. Gestede and Ayew. Mourinho to be rather cross afterwards.

No I think it could be 8-7. We'll be winning 6-7 as the match goes to injury time. They will equalise after a disputed corner floats over and Terry holds down Guzan whilst Ivanovic punches the ball into the net. It's 7-7 at the end of 7 minutes of added time however ref plays on a further 2 minutes and awards them a penalty when Terry slips and falls in the area and sends off Guzan for deceitful play for being within 5 yards of Terry making him slip. Bunn saves 5 penalty attempts. Retakes ordered each time Bunn moved from a stationary position. After the fifth failed attempt ref gives him the second yellow and Jack Grealish has to go in goal. Jack saves the first attempt by punching the ball out but it hits the Referee and bounces back into the net. Mourinho misses all this as he went to phone his wife at 6-7!

Not that I am bored!

I'd bring Gabby back in then, as I think we need mobility and speed against these.

Agreed they've looked leggy at the back with Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic this season. The striker through the middle needs to be pacey, Gabby or maybe a gamble on Ayew up there again.
Yes that would be good as long as you are not expecting Gabby to actually do anything with ball at his feet!

Mourinho completely losing the plot, seemingly asking to be fired. Losing games left, right and centre so never been a better to play them.

But we're Villa so I'll go with a comfortable 5-1 home win.

Incidentally prior to that game a few H&Vers predicted we'd win and I said they were living in cloud cuckoo land. I feel the same prior to this game, so fingers crossed.

That would be madness, surely?

3-0 Chelsea but come the return fixture Mourinho will be in the Villa dug out.

Either as our manager or because he wants to fight our manager.
