Westwood's game:

*lay off easy ten yard pass*
*jog more or less on the spot, don't move much, look mercurial*

*repeat*

The midfield 3 were all stood within 5 yards of each other just now, with 8 Stoke players between them and Gestede/Sinclair.  This is utterly, utterly, utterly shit.

Well to be fair, it's important they keep it tight, because they've only got FIVE defenders behind them.

It's probably been said, but surely Bacuna is ideal for right wing-back, so why play Hutton?

Not much quality to this game. If there's a goal it's likely to be a defensive mistake.

Took 15 minutes but we're starting to find our feet going forward.

I think he is using the same tactic as he did for the rags game.

Be fkn awful for 45 minutes on purpsose and then bring our "a" game into the second half.

It worked before....

I'd much rather see somebody like Adam in our midfield than that waste of space Westwood.

It looks like the idea of the Central 3 might be to allow Hutton and Amavi to go further forward, while leaving defence covered? I don't quite understand it yet - we are showing signs of promise. But we are also showing signs that we look like relegation fodder too.

Legging full pelt up the wing, like a car thief being chased by an invisible copper.
