Some would say he has been playing a false number 1 for a while, but actually thought he was ok at the red scouse mob.

I do think we need to play one out of Sanchez/Westwood, actually I have forgotten Ayew and maybe he should start ahead of Adama. Really thought he was unlucky not to start last weekend after his performance against the noses

I think Ayew should start, as well. However,
We don't see them training before the match but he made such a difference, last time.

So perhaps he comes on with another, I dunno, 20 minutes to make a difference.

If Adama is not fully fit, maybe Ayew to start. I think the manager was wrong not choosing him last weekend as he is someone who pressures people. WTF am I to know, I didn't even remember him lol

Cant. really argue with Lawros comments, Amavi has looked good at times but is a long way from the complete article.
I do not think we look a better team either and we are in a relegation battle already.

We are all hoping that Sherwood somehow finds the right combination, stops making daft decisions we start to gel as a team and start picking up points real quick.

Amavi looks good going forward, but a bit suspect at the back.  Gana runs around without doing anything, Veretout is off the pace and Ayew looked good against a championship back four.

That's before you even start of some of Sherwoods rather bizarre in game management.

I think Amavi can be a top player, he is certainly better than Moreno at Liverpool for example.

Gana has been good for me, Vertout needs to get to the pace but is he going to get that with splinters on his backside? As for Ayew, we don't know. He scored a cracking goal for his country late on, he is buzzing, so gets left on the bench and comes on and makes a massive difference to me. He should have been in the team last weekend IMHO as would have hassled their team

Amavi is a star.
I have so enjoyed what he has done so far. What a player.

If Marvin is fit as well, then he is easily in there, I would have thought.

Guzan
Hutton Richards  Lescott   Amavi
              Sanchez
      Vertout          Gana
Adama                          Grealish
              Gestede
Excellent, I always loved 'Rush' goalkeepers.

Good point, some would say he may as well be, but I happen to think he is competent excep for the kicking.

You're right, it's Gana.

Still think Gueye missed a trick, there.

Are they the lads who almost add up to super Ian Ormroyd in size, never seen them play together

If Gueye is in we look a far better team. He's back from quite a bad injury and needs games to get up to speed. To say he runs around a lot without doing anything is a bit flippant.

We aren't playing as a team. More a collection of individuals all trying to settle in and impress without the joined up approach.
We also lack leadership
