Probably completely misguided but I fancy us to continue our League Cup run by beating Southampton!

Otherwise, in the league, I fear we may have to wait until Watford at the end of November. WINTER IS COMING.

We won't beat Watford at home. They are a better side than people think . A new version of Swansea if you will

I fancy us against Chelsea having subsequently seen the highlights, they actually look worse than we do. It would be great to have Matalan Coat sacked twice.

For lunch I'll have what you're drinking!

I think we're going to get absolutely battered at Chelski...I wouldn't at all be surprised if it was as bad as the 8-0 under Lambert.

I can't decide if we've been unlucky to get the two-week break which gives Chelsea the chance to regroup and sort themselves out, or if we've been lucky because we get to do the same.

Depends on which manager you think is the most competent and most likely to sort their problems out.

Oh bollocks.

Well he went all out defence at home to stoke , he will probably go all out attack away at Chelsea leaving the defence woefully exposed and a 0-8 drubbing to ensue.

No, it'll be 8-1 as we'll score through Courtois slipping over and missing a Terry backpass. Sherwood will conclude from this that the best way for us to score goals is to give the ball to opposition centre-backs and hope.

Xmas period is massive for us really....in a 10 game period we play Watford, Southampton, Newcastle, West Ham, norwich, Sunderland, Palace, WBA, Leicester.

We simply need wins from that bunch..maybe as many as five.

You'd imagine if we pot Sherwood around that time that's a reasonable run to get a good new manager bounce.

We've done 7 and 8 recently. It'll be 9 this time

Chelsea will beat us because we'll set up not to lose and concede early. It will be uphill from there because the side already lacks confidence. Chelsea have enough quality and experience that it won't take them much to get going if the opponent lets them play. In games they've lost this season the opponent has had a go at them from the start. When was the last time we did that, and most importantly even when we did we stuck to the plan, made intelligent adjustments and saw it through?
