You do realise I said "seems" rather than 'is'. Which indicates i'm not sure, unlike your incorrect claim about Albion which you stated as fact ;)

Based on what? What makes him 'seem' like that?

And my 'claim' wasn't posted as a fact. It was posted as a joke. Y'know, not playing at all is better than playing for West Brom?

Based on the reports he spoke to a few clubs. It could all be bollocks and no one was in for him, which again, is why the "seems".

Wouldn't Albion have had to be in for him for that to work though? ;)

A while ago I jokingly suggested Villa give IQ tests to all prospective signings, given the amount of blockheads we've signed in the past, but this bloke really makes me wonder.

So long as we don't do this for prospective fans. I would never have got in!

so Spurs offered to cancel the last year of his contract so he could join West Ham/AN Other but the twat said no. Can't help but think we are very much better off without him. Obviously he was entitled to the cash or an agreed severance payment, but equally obvious he's ruled by money and not the desire to play football while he still can. Will anyone want him now after the saga of summer 2015?

Why you want to make such a big deal of a fairly innocuous comment I have no idea, but "based on reports" was WBA. Type 'Jose Enrique transfer' into Google and every single story from the first page is about him potentially going to West Brom.

Whether it's true or not, there was nothing more concrete linking him to any other club more than that lot.

If the paper reports are to be believed, he wasn't happy with Spurs making up any shortfall in his £100,000 a week for a year, he insisted on being paid up in full so he could get even more in wages from his next club.

I'm not sure that a character like that would have been good for the morale of the squad.

Better off without him. Let him rot in the Spurs bomb squad.

Never wanted him. It would seem he would rather sit on his pile of cash than play the sport he be gifted to play. I would rather have the players we have than him.

It appears he has little motivation to actually get out on the football pitch and play. The only way it would have worked here is if Adebeyor was willing to work hard for the club, but he's only ever happy to coast and collect his winnings the feckless fecker. I think we're averted a disaster that would have made Fashanu look like a great signing.

It is a shame because as a footballer he is very talented and would have fitted in perfectly into our team with a manager he trusts and plays for. As a man he is a complete tool. But I am sure he is not the only premiership prima donna that has been said about

Ya ya  - Birthday cake  ;D

it's hard for anyone to out-tool Ireland. But Adebayor probably shades it.

Trouble with football it is hard to cut players. in NFL they can cut underperforming players easily. Football need to look at NFL to see how they do contracts and deals.

I simply pointed out that Enrique said Albion were never in for him. You know, the kind of thing you often do. If that's "turning it into a big deal", ok then, whatever floats your boat.
