It's tempting to 'twist' at this point. I'd love to see Gil come on and see if he could create just a little more in Bacuna's role…but then Bacuna IS working very hard, and we're winning, and fairly comfortably.

I think I might just bring on Ayew for Gestede.

As well as we've played, you have to take into account how crap Sunderland are.

We should look good against this level of opposition, otherwise we'll be in the bottom 4 or 5, so we need to take the opportunity to score  a hat full.

I was about to have a moan about our forwards, neither contributed anything in that half other than a well taken penalty. Then up pops Sinclair with a well timed run, the type we've seen Gabby do so many times in the past and suddenly it's 2-1.

Part of the problem is despite getting in loads of crosses, they're generally high balls, which plays to Sunderland's defences only strength or over hit. Improve them and we'll slaughter them.

I hope we see Gil on, preferably for Bacuna or Westwood.

Good first half by us, but I'm glad we took the lead as surely {they} won't be as shit as they have been in the second half.

I remember thinking that quite often about us.....

Fucking West Ham. They could be getting wins vs Arsenal and Liverpool away and have been gash or just average in their other games.

And how's it going their CB? Not so good huh big man? Enjoy the pressure son.

Eh?

We deserve our lead and Cattermole should have been sent off but these are 2 poor sides. I know we are missing key players and waiting for things to gel so I suppose I should cut them some slack.
Cattermole off!

Toivonen on for them. He's a reputation as a hard man so probably on the clatter Sinclair.

I'd like to see some earlyish subs ~60 mins, Kozak and Gil on for Gestede and Bacuna

I'll admit, I wasn't sure on the Sinclair signing...felt it was never going to work, looked a bit powder puff.

Glad it has or is working.
