We are Aston Villa and we are superior to them in every way it is possible for one football club to be superior to another football club. That will remain the case, regardless of tonight's result.
We have spent over £45m against their £850,000 ..and we have the history so how can we not be superior?

Taking the team from the last round as a guide, I'm expecting something like:

Bunn

Richards
Bacuna
Amavi

Gil
Grealish
Sinclair
Agbonlahor
Ayew

Kozak
Gestede

I wouldn't be surprised.

It's noticeable that all the Wolves fans I work with are all hoping that we win this.  I know from them that a lot of Wolves hate the Noses even more than the Baggies now.

At least Wolves haven't been small time enough to tweet a message of good luck to us however.

I'm not sure this is a game for Vertout, he looked some way off the pace on Saturday.

I don't think I've seen anybody slower than him for a good while. Considering he was fresh on, one of their players left him for dead and he then proceeded to stand around in a variety of places on the pitch, none of which were useful. I'm genuinely disappointed about him so far as I thought he could be the best signing of the lot, but up to now he looks poor.

The Bitters deleted that tweet. So i'm assuming even they eventually twigged how pathetic it made them look.

For some reason I'm not getting excited about this at all. I woke up this morning (Blues weren't on my mind), wondered what I was doing today then remembered the game tonight. Maybe it's an age thing, maybe it's the anticlimax of the Bitters game, maybe it's 4 seasons of endless anticipointment, but I'm just not up for it at the minute. Hopefully when I'm walking across Aston Park and see the Holte emerging through the trees I'll start getting the buzz as usual, but  I'm strangely downbeat about tonight.

Quite right Tony, but don't you think that we have a better history than the wolves?

Not good news that Gana is out. He looks a very good player and we've missed him. Also looks like Adama won't play, which is disappointing as well as he also looks good.

Kozak to start I think. Give him a chance.

Nervous now. The way things are going we'll probably lose and lose somebody good like Amavi to an injury caused by one of their cloggers.  Sorry for being negative but I hate these games.
Have a bit more faith risso, dont you think our history will give us the edge?

This must be the most exciting day in your life? Spend all day on an Aston Villa fansite then your cup final tonight. Do you think being a second division, long ball, clogger team will give you the advantage? or will you all pretending to be hard give you the extra edge?

That ship sailed with the first fleet of coaches.
