Knowing Villa as I do, I never, ever expect us to come up with the goods. We usually find a way to disappoint, so a win tonight would be nothing but sweet relief.

Nervous now. The way things are going we'll probably lose and lose somebody good like Amavi to an injury caused by one of their cloggers.  Sorry for being negative but I hate these games.
Have a bit more faith risso, dont you think our history will give us the edge?

This must be the most exciting day in your life? Spend all day on an Aston Villa fansite then your cup final tonight. Do you think being a second division, long ball, clogger team will give you the advantage? or will you all pretending to be hard give you the extra edge?

What time is the coach picking you up Savospit?

Remember not to bang on the window shouting "Zulu" at the same time as you lick it, we wouldn't want you biting your tongue.

We are Aston Villa and we are superior to them in every way it is possible for one football club to be superior to another football club. That will remain the case, regardless of tonight's result.

Dressing up (wearing a cheap flat cap)  thinking you look like Thomas Shelby will not give you an edge.

Tax Dodger top bloke

I want to win tonight , but lets get real Diverpool is more important, ffs whose going to pass a thought about tonight, when the cup is lifted end of the season.

whereas league position is everything, tonight is a distraction, something that just goes over the sha cretins.

Another one of the "half day" brigade!

Hour and 15 to go. Not that I'm counting.

No, but the fact that Blues are a crap mid-table Championship outfit might.

I think it'll be the same team, depends on how fit Gil is.

I worry about our right side. Gil doesn't have the defensive discipline to pay wide. He'll leave Hutton exposed.

I'd play him dead centrally. Get him coming deep to get the ball.

Unsure to if Sinclair is a better option than Gestede. Gestede would give us the 'lump it' option, but I worry he's not strong enough to actually make it be effective.

I actually quite like the thought of Gestede and Sinclair up front - Sinclair is wasted in the current formation and is the most likely goal scorer, makes better runs than Gabby, then again so do I....

I think we need some pace out wide, so would play Sinclair on the left with Bacuna (only real option at the minute) on the right.  Gestede up front with Grealish or Gil just in behind and I think that will be a much more balanced attack.
