When I was growing up in Brum all of our family lived in the Aston/Hockley area.
Solid Villa.

One cousin married a nose and lived in Upper Thomas Street.
It didn't last. (the marriage, not Upper Thomas Street)

Bought my ticket today. Bit miffed that I've missed the deadline for using Villa cash (11th Sept). Didn't even know they set deadlines.

Although plenty of them B30 and B31 are mixed not just a Nose area.

I'd say there are more Villa in these areas than Blues fans. From what I can see Blues' only stronghold in this city is the south east of the city - Small Heath, Bordesley, Sheldon etc, and that's about it.

Why oh why we didn't give them 10,000 is beyond me.

"The Club are making available the remaining available tickets for the Capital One Cup tie at Aston Villa to Blues Season Ticket holders" ....

.... once those ten people have had the booking process explained to them slowly and clearly by their carers, tickets will be available for the next category - those with a pulse.

I think you missed a category out.  Those supporters with a signed replica picture of Barry pissing against the floodlights come next.

Anyone who would like to purchase a ticket needs to reply to the email with Aston Villa

why couldn't they just say reply to the email with YES I'd like a ticket ?

Upper Thomas St was sliced in half by the Expressway, there ain't much of it left!

100% of the male population of my house (me) is solid Villa. If you extrapolate that across my area as a whole it means everyone in Tipton is Villa.

No idea if it's being shown live across the pond but it's live on Sky 1/Sky 1HD here if that helps

It makes for more interesting reading as you head further out from Brum. There is simply no evidence to support this "everyone in the city follows us" nonsense they herald.

I am struggling to think of a single part of Birmingham without a sizable Villa presence.

I mention further out though because once you break the city boundaries their support disappears. And you don't have to get too far out either.

Stourbridge is a 3 way split between Villa, Wolves and Olbiyun. The Blues don't even register. 14 miles away.

What are you basing that on?
