I just love all the shit they come out with - in my case lads who NEVER go to watch them, yet they're going to come to this one.  Better still, they'll just get seats in the Holte - there'll be loads of them in there apparently.  Clowns.

No thread is complete without a poll. I think we should have one to allow us to guess the number of coaches they will bring.

I'm going with more than the usual 20 odd they bring.

Indeed. For all their talk about being so hard and us being a load of divs in bobble hats, most of them are actually scared of coming to the game on public transport.

Tossers.

I must admit that I am never anywhere near the "away end" as I park the Holte end of the ground ....but do they really get coaches from the Sty to Villa Park ???   all of how many miles ? 3 or 4...

Wouldn't they need to either own a season ticket or have Villa Cash to get a ticket in the Holte or any Villa end? Demand for this will be huge because you've got loads of people who never go to games trying to get a ticket and I think even they'll struggle without much of a history home or away.

They usually have a firm of about 150 who make their own way but get wrapped up by the OB, then around 24 coach loads from the Sty. I think we have three coaches go to the Sty, from places like Cheltenham etc.

My point exactly.  they won't get tickets and they know it.  It just helps their ego that they're seen to be saying such shit.  When push comes to shove, they'll be nowhere near VP.

Without hyperbole, they bring more coaches than any other team.

Coming from town, I've counted 20 plus coming across at Pump/Matalan island the last time we played them in the league.

I went to school with a group of lads who sound exactly like that.  Wankers.

To be fair there were a fair few coaches at the sty when we played then in the lc qf.

When I was a youth it really was quite intimidating going from Chelmsley to Stechford with all my local chimps, and then getting on the 11 to Villa Park, knowing that would be packed with Acocks Green chimps. Equally daunting was getting the 163 or 53 straight to the Sty.

Even so I did it - I would be too embarrassed to get a coach to either venue.

There was. Ours was the one that had a blue brick lobbed through the window, as we were coming up the hill, to the away coach park!

That night shocked them. It was the night we sank to their level.

I remember seeing numerous dwellers being slapped then quite literally thrown down the steps when their goals went in that night.

If they get an allocation of 4000 then it might be possible with the number of coaches they will bring, to create a bridge for them to walk from the Sty to Villa Park, through each coach, shouting Zulu of course, without ever having to touch the pavement.
