There was some good evidence that the Noses have a support base about the size of Blackburn in the Coventry Road corridor with which to draw upon.

The public transport maps that WM Travel created displayed Villa drawing support in good numbers fairly evenly throughout the city and the environs, with higher concentrations in the north.

The Noses on the other hand had faint blue smudges in the south and east and this Blackburn sized hole with which they quarter fill their tiny tin pot ground.

Still, they carry the city's name.

The club decide the number and location of away fans, not the police. Now as you were.

Indeed - hope they have learnt from the Albion game last season

When did toilet smashing become all the rage? Was it a case that the toilets were so bad in the 70s and 80s that there wasn't much point biffing them in?

Makes twats look hard while their equally hard mates film it. They can then tell all the internet hooligans how they "dun da ground ova".

And all the time dying for a piss ....... Muppets!

Is it beyond the realms of possibility to put a copper in each away toilet?

I will do that. I will put a 2p piece in every toilet in the upper Witton End on Saturday!

Not the only ones, unfortunately.
A disappointing experience from last season: a Villa fan, about 50ish, jumping up and down on a basin in a big attempt to cause damage/flood...at Burnley, Leicester or somewhere like that.

yeah they need to put 2 in each one , cos without doubt they will intend to smash them up
and  police on the concourse at half time will be needed
after the west brom fans recently threw bins and set off fire extinguishers

No thread is complete without a poll. I think we should have one to allow us to guess the number of coaches they will bring.

I'm going with more than the usual 20 odd they bring.

Do you have a link to these maps? I'd be interested to see them

Indeed. For all their talk about being so hard and us being a load of divs in bobble hats, most of them are actually scared of coming to the game on public transport.

Tossers.
