Villa will face Blues in the Capital One Cup third round on Tuesday September 22.

The derby game at Villa Park will kick-off at 7.45pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports.

We were drawn with our neighbours following the completion of all second round ties.

We defeated Notts County 5-3 after extra-time while Blues beat Gillingham 2-0.

That's good. I can go on that day. My week now consists of Villa on Tuesday, Lumerians in Bristol on Wednesday, Josh Widdecombe in 'Nam on Thursday and then the Psychfest/Anfield weekend

When you're playing that lot, the context of the game in terms of competition and how far you've come are pretty much irrelevant.

Would that QF defeat in 2010 have hurt less if it was the 3rd round instead?

The only way it would matter more would be if (god forbid) it was an actual final or by some miracle they'd got a chance of denying us a league title (Yes I know that's actually 2 miracles, one to get them promoted and 1 to get us all the way back up there.)
